The CEAP-PCSS Basic Education Technical Consultants (BE-TCs) gathered in early 2025 to finalize the PCSS-BE document, originally published in 2016. This week-long session was held at the Phoenix Publishing House, Inc. building from January 6 to 10, 2025.
Each day began with Holy Mass, celebrated alternately by Fr. Alain P. Manalo, Msgr. Michael Feliciano I. Veneracion, and Fr. Elmer G. Dizon.
The revision of the PCSS-BE document is part of an ongoing effort to make it more accessible and practical for schools to implement, thereby safeguarding their distinct Catholic identity.With dedication and enthusiasm, Fr. Alain P. Manalo, Chairperson of the PCSS Committee, and Dr. Cynthia C. Arcadio, Chairperson of the PCSS-BE, collaborated with technical consultants Ms. Simonet A. Barrosa, Mr. Ringo Blanca, Fr. Elmer G. Dizon, Sr. Ma. Nilda P. Hechanova RA, Mr. Jose Ramelle E. Javier, and Msgr. Michael Feliciano I. Veneracion. Together, they refined the PCSS document, ensuring it continues to serve as a blueprint for preserving and enhancing the Catholic identity of academic institutions.
As the revised PCSS-BE document approaches completion, it underscores CEAP's unwavering commitment to empowering Catholic schools in their mission to provide transformative education and foster communities deeply rooted in faith, service, and excellence.
