The Catholic Education Association of the Philippines (CEAP) - Philippine Catholic Schools Standards (PCSS) Commission held its 3rd quarter meeting on July 26, 2024, via Zoom.

Commission members, including Fr. Elmer G. Dizon, PCSS Technical Consultant for Basic Education (BE) and Higher Education (HE); Dr. Amelia G. Ronquillo, PCSS Technical Consultant for Basic Education (BE) and NBEC representative; and Mr. Jose Allan I. Arellano, CEAP Executive Director, discussed departmental updates, upcoming events, and future plans.

The PCSS-BE Technical Consultants, led by Dr. Cynthia C. Arcadio as chairperson, are currently working on refining the 2nd edition of the Philippine Catholic Schools Standards for Basic Education document. This document serves as the blueprint of Catholic institutions to uphold the distinctive Catholic identity.

This effort is part of CEAP-PCSS’s active contribution to the evangelizing mission of the Church.
