The Catholic Education Association of the Philippines (CEAP) - Philippine Catholic Schools Standards for Higher Education (PCSS-HE) conducted a Trainers’ Training Program on December 11-13, 2023.

The training was held at the Oloph Building, Phoenix Publishing House, Inc., in Quezon City.

The key personnel from selected Catholic Higher Education Institutions (CHEIs) were mentored by the PCSS Commission members and Technical Consultants: Fr. Elmer G. Dizon, Dr. Pilar I. Romero, and the chairperson, Dr. Miguel Q. Rapatan. Fr. Thadeu Enrique Balongag also served as a facilitator and resource person.Fr. Alain P. Manalo, the Chairperson of the PCSS Commission was present at the training program. He comissioned the trainers on the last day of the event.

This program aims to develop coaches and mentors who will lead CHEIs in introducing the PCSS for Higher Education, conducting self-assessments, providing feedback, and planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating actions for continuous improvement. These steps are intended to ensure quality instruction and excellence in Catholic education.
